Quick year in review -

This image is currently being shown at the corner of 14th and Champa, a window installation to support the Colorado Theatre District. Hopefully, you get a chance to stroll by.

At the first annual Denver County Fair (this past summer), my image "Meet Me" took first place. This was also my first time printing an image on canvas.

Finally, several here are several images ready to be shown and sold! Look for more to come later!

I had the privilege to photograph a "brewmaster" at the Wynkoop brewery for DRAFT Magazine. Yes, you do go to school to become a brewmaster! The pictures will be appearing in the September issue. Here are some pics from that day.

No, I didn't go skiing. Instead, I got the camera out! Imagine that! Here are a couple things I photographed. Also, I was commissioned to photograph a calla lilly. I think the flowers would look lovely as a triptych.

I hope 2009 is starting out with great delight for everyone! Here is a sample of an ongoing project I have been working on (for the past 5 years)! I like the idea of an image on glass, which could be hung in front of a light or window. Currently, I am working on different methods of hanging the image, not necessarily in a frame as shown. I'm not much of a carpenter, so this has been a huge trial and error process!

I found a software program that turns your digital photo into a Polaroid (unreliable color, no contrast, and rough, dark edges). Remember those. Shake, Shake, Shake. Here are some pics, just for fun.

I like to take random road trips to the mountains, and Fall is the perfect time to do that. My original plan was to head deep into the Rockies, 5 hours to Gunnison, but the weather called for a foot of snow. So, me and my Nissan Sentra decided that would not be a good idea. I did visit Central City, Guanella Pass, Pike National Forest and other random dirt roads. Here are a couple images from those trips.

I am currently working on a new personal project. Here is what I have so far. I enjoy photographing flowers, but wanted to take a new approach. This has been done before, but hopefully, I am adding my own touch. I hope to have at least 10 in the series...I also have a fantastic name, but don't want to share that too early!

I hope it's not too late to share my (few) stories. The first day I was looking for delegates.... However, I did find lots of police, in full riot gear! And, I did see Jimmy Carter. He just got done with an interview at the MSNBC booth. And, lastly, a couple images from my bike ride home from the convention.
